Like many of you, the path to grow our family + the challenges that come with the growth have fundamentally changed me. Now, more than ever, I appreciate motherhood in a new way and so badly want to help mom's feel seen, loved and appreciated.
I hung up my hat photographing weddings to turn my attention to families and set out to provide mom's the best photography experience with thoughtful, timeless, tangible photographs. Everything about my process is for you, mama. To make your life easier. To make you feel beautiful. And to give you physical artwork of the family and life you're creating to be appreciated every day.

A snapshot into my life
I always wanted a big family, and when my husband and I were first engaged we talked about a family ranging from 2-6 kids. Well, we're now three kids deep and our family feels complete.
Motherhood throughly rocked my world. In the most joyful and challenging ways. I want to leave each family with tangible photographs you can see every day, to serve as a reminder of the joy within the chaos.

I like HGTV just as much as the next girl, but I also really admire when someone can look at a space and visualize it's potential. I love watching people use their skills and talents to create.
Pre-kids I worked for a custom home builder in Chicago and was at a small enough company I had input on some of the home design & elevations as well as jumping in with our designer to help my client's select their homes finishes.
This is also why I love designing gallery walls and artwork for your home. From looking at your home's color palate to selecting wardrobe, to the final frame options and scale for your space!

Talking? Yes, talking. I'm about as extroverted as one can be. A lot of photographers in the communities I'm in talk about photography as their art yet find it challenging working with people.
I'm the opposite, I'm like a real life labradoodle- energetic, happy and obsessed with people. So feel free to dish as much as you want about your story, I'm all ears and happy listen :-)

Working with Maegan was the best photography experience we’ve had as a family! She was so accommodating with our schedule and she took the time to learn what we valued most in our photos.
She was warm, engaging and energetic. She did an amazing job balancing candid photos that captured our kiddos personalities and more intentional poses that captured the eyes and smiles of our family. She somehow managed to make an hour long shoot with three kids three and under fun! We left the shoot blown away at how easy and enjoyable it was. We’ll be booking family photos with Maegan for years to come. I cannot recommend enough!!

Newborn Session
Maegan is THE BEST. We’ve done multiple sessions with her and she always does an amazing job. My kids are so comfortable around her, she knows how to make them laugh and capture sweet moments even when they aren’t exactly cooperating.
Even my husband and I felt at ease because she told us exactly what to do throughout the sessions. I love the light an airy feel of her photographs, she has such a creative eye that is obvious in her photos. You can’t go wrong booking a session with Maegan, she has a great heart towards making precious memories for her clients.

I wish I could give 5 billion stars! Maegan is so incredibly talented! Our pictures exceeded our wildest expectations and are true art forms. They made me cry when I saw them! Not only are her photographs incredible, she also made the whole experience such a delight! It was like a game….just a fun “ hang out” time with our family! Everything was relaxed and light! Nothing felt staged or false….she just captured our family in our element and made it so organic and lovely!
My husband HATES having his picture taken and he came away saying, “ wow! That was actually fun! I would do it again.” I can’t really think of higher praise!

A few years ago, I found Maegan through a mutual friend and I am SO glad that I did.... she has been photographing my family of 5 ever since. She captured my twins newborn photos in the most beautiful lifestyle session at our home (my all time favorite!), and she has continued to capture my family and now my entire extended family as we grow. The compliments we receive on her photographs are never ending.
Let's be real, every mom (myself included) stresses about getting the perfect family photos. All the work that's put into coordinating outfits, making sure the kids cooperate, etc. But I will tell you, that stress melts away once you meet Maegan and she starts snapping away! She will make you and your family feel so comfortable in front of the lens. She has ways to make everyone look absolutely stunning. Her kind, warm, and welcoming personality makes it so easy to open up and enjoy your session. Her light and airy editing style is second to none and I promise you will be pleased with the end product.

Newborn Session
I had the pleasure of working with Maegan for our baby girl one year old photo session recently, and I can't express enough how amazing the experience was. Maegan is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but she is also a delight to work with. Her sweetness and patience were truly remarkable.
Maegan's attention to detail and creativity were evident in every shot she took. She had a keen eye for finding the great angles and lighting to create stunning photographs. Every picture turned out great.
She not only provided me with a beautiful collection of photos but also left me with wonderful memories. Milestone Session
Maegan was a dream to work with. She was so nice and easygoing during our session and my son warmed up to her easily. I was amazed when we got the pictures back, too! She captured the most genuine, sweet pictures I could ever ask for. I would absolute use her for family photos again!
